Sony BP-U battery: cameras, spares & chargers
The Sony BP-U powers 6 Blackmagic cameras in our catalogue. Below: every compatible battery, genuine and third-party, with the price at each UK shop, and the charger that goes with it.
Cameras that take the Sony BP-U
Every body in the catalogue whose maker lists the Sony BP-U as its battery, newest first.
Compatible batteries
Genuine means made by the camera maker. Third-party cells are cheaper; most work fully, but some bodies show a warning or skip the battery-health readout.
Matching charger
A second charger, or a dual charger, means you can charge the spare while you shoot. Most current bodies also charge in-camera over USB-C.
Next step
Battery fits come from each camera maker's spec page. Prices are new-condition prices from UK retailers we track; GearFrame may earn a commission when you buy through a shop link. All batteries
