GearScore™ Verdict — Which should you buy?

Travel & Vlogging — PowerShot G7X Mark II (2016): The G7X Mark II is one of the most popular compact cameras ever made — and for good reason. A fast f/1.8-2.8 lens, 20MP 1-inch sensor, flip-up selfie screen, and Micro USB charging combine in one of the most vlog-friendly compact cameras available. No 4K and no EVF are the main compromises, but the G7X II remains outstanding value on the used market.

All-Round Photography & Video — A7 III (2018): Still one of the best all-round cameras money can buy — particularly strong used. The A7 III proved that full-frame doesn't have to mean compromises, and nothing at this price point has meaningfully beaten it.
