Canon EOS R
The Canon EOS R is the camera that launched Canon's RF mount — a 30.3MP full-frame mirrorless with Dual Pixel CMOS AF, a unique control bar on the rear, and a compelling hybrid image quality that clearly demonstrated what the large RF throat diameter made possible. Superseded by the R5 and R6, it remains a capable and very affordable full-frame mirrorless option.
GearFrame's Take
The RF mount's founding camera — 30MP, Dual Pixel CMOS AF, and the proof-of-concept that launched Canon's mirrorless era.
