The X-T4 was the camera that completed the X-T series: IBIS arrived in an X-T body for the first time, and a vari-angle touchscreen replaced the three-directional tilt that had limited video use. The 26.1MP X-Trans IV sensor with 5-axis IBIS rated at 6.5 stops creates a genuinely capable hand-held system for both stills and video. 4K/60p at 10-bit F-Log provides professional colour grading latitude. The tactile control layout — dedicated dials for shutter speed, ISO, and exposure compensation — gives the X-T4 a shooting experience most mirrorless cameras don't replicate. While the X-T5 has superseded it for pure stills, the X-T4 remains an excellent all-round Fujifilm camera that balances photography and video more evenly than either successor — and is available at a significantly lower price in the used market.
The X-T series reached hybrid maturity with the X-T4 — IBIS, 4K/60p, and Fujifilm colour science in the most complete X-T package.
