GoPro Hero 12 Black

Name: Hero 12 Black
Brand: GoPro
Availability: InStock

The GoPro Hero 12 Black delivers GoPro's best-ever image quality in the familiar rugged form factor. Improved HyperSmooth 6.0 stabilisation, 10-bit colour, HDR video, and a greatly extended battery life (up to 70 minutes longer than Hero 11) make it a significant upgrade. Waterproof to 10m without a case, with front and rear touchscreens, it's the most capable action camera GoPro has built.

GearFrame's Take

GoPro's best all-round action camera — better battery, 10-bit colour, and HyperSmooth 6.0 make it a genuine step forward.

📝 How suitability scores are calculated GearScore™ genre scores are calculated from this camera's verified specifications — autofocus, sensor, weight, weather sealing and more — weighted by what matters for each type of photography. Where a spec sheet misses something (e.g. a manual-focus rangefinder for street), we apply a documented editorial adjustment. Scores are not based on customer reviews. See our full methodology →
