Joby GorillaPod 5K Kit

Premium flexible tripod for mirrorless and DSLR setups up to 5kg. Ball-and-socket legs wrap around poles, grip ledges and balance on uneven surfaces. Includes a ballhead with Arca-Swiss quick release — the top-tier GorillaPod for heavy setups.

GearFrame's Take

The GorillaPod 5K is the GorillaPod for photographers who carry a full-frame camera and larger lenses. The 5kg capacity handles any mirrorless body plus a fast zoom without any flex. If you already own a 1K or 3K and find it bending under your setup, the 5K is the upgrade.

📝 How suitability scores are calculated GearScore™ genre scores are calculated from this camera's verified specifications — autofocus, sensor, weight, weather sealing and more — weighted by what matters for each type of photography. Where a spec sheet misses something (e.g. a manual-focus rangefinder for street), we apply a documented editorial adjustment. Scores are not based on customer reviews. See our full methodology →
