✅ Great For
🏔️
Landscape 8kg load and 152cm height are ideal for landscape setups. Essential for long exposures and dawn/dusk shooting.
👤
Portrait Hands-free shooting with eye-level height. Fluid head repositions quickly between portrait and landscape orientation.
🎬
Video Stable platform for static video shots. Not a video head — add a fluid head if you need smooth panning.
🦅
Wildlife Stable enough for long telephoto shooting from a fixed position. Less portable than a monopod for active wildlife work.
✈️
Travel 48cm folded length fits in most luggage. The weight is the main consideration for travelling photographers.
⚠️ Not Ideal For

No significant limitations identified — this is a versatile camera without obvious weak spots for most shooters.

📝 How suitability scores are calculated GearScore™ genre scores are calculated from this camera's verified specifications — autofocus, sensor, weight, weather sealing and more — weighted by what matters for each type of photography. Where a spec sheet misses something (e.g. a manual-focus rangefinder for street), we apply a documented editorial adjustment. Scores are not based on customer reviews. See our full methodology →
