Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/4E FL ED VR

Nikon's lightweight F-mount 600mm f/4: two fluorite elements bring it down to 3,810g, about 1.2kg less than the previous 600mm VR. 4-stop VR with a SPORT mode, an electromagnetic aperture for steady exposure in fast bursts, a bearing tripod collar and a 40.5mm drop-in filter. Works with Nikon's TC-14E teleconverters with full AF; on Z bodies through the FTZ adapter.

📝 How suitability scores are calculated GearScore™ genre scores are calculated from this camera's verified specifications — autofocus, sensor, weight, weather sealing and more — weighted by what matters for each type of photography. Where a spec sheet misses something (e.g. a manual-focus rangefinder for street), we apply a documented editorial adjustment. Scores are not based on customer reviews. See our full methodology →
