The OM System BLX-1 is the battery for the OM-1, OM-1 Mark II, OM-3, and OM-5. At 2280mAh it gives the OM-1 a rated endurance of ~520 shots per charge. A spare BLX-1 is recommended for full-day wildlife or sports sessions — the OM-1's 50fps burst and computational photography modes drain the battery significantly faster than standard shooting. The BLX-1 is also used by the HLD-10 battery grip for the OM-1 and OM-1 Mark II.
