OM System OM-5

The OM System OM-5 is the most rugged compact mirrorless camera available. IP53 weather sealing combined with the most powerful IBIS system in the MFT lineup — 7.5 stops when paired with compatible lenses — creates a camera that performs in conditions that would damage or disable most competitors. At 414g, it is lighter and smaller than its OM-1 siblings while sharing core computational photography features including Live ND and multiple exposure modes. For travel photographers, adventure shooters, hikers, and anyone who photographs in rain, dust, cold, or physically demanding environments, the OM-5 is the clearest recommendation in its category. Its AF system is less advanced than the OM-1 Mark II, making it less suited to fast-action wildlife, but for landscape, travel, and documentary photography in challenging conditions it is exceptionally capable.
