The Holga 120N is the classic plastic medium-format toy camera: it shoots 120 roll film at 6×6 (12 frames) or 6×4.5 (16 frames) through a plastic 60 mm f/8 lens, with a single 1/100 s shutter plus Bulb, a sunny / cloudy aperture switch and four focus zones. It needs no batteries, has a hot shoe for a flash and a tripod mount, and weighs about 200 g. The simple plastic optics give the soft, vignetted toy-camera look it is known for.

🎉 7.2/10 for fun — a point-and-shoot for parties, weddings, holidays and nights out. Not a serious camera, and not trying to be.
Great at: parties · weddings & events · holidays · festivals · everyday snapshots. No flash — daylight and bright rooms only. Camera Match's Fun & simple mode ranks it against the other point-and-shoots. That ranking allows about £12 a roll for developing on film cameras, so film and instant compare on what you actually pay.
About £0.46 a picture on Kentmere Pan 100 120 Film, the cheapest film in stock that fits, plus developing.
Ranked only against cameras of its own kind, on film facts — lens, exposure control, focusing, format and cost per shot. Never against digital cameras.
