Kodak Portra 400 is the professional portrait film standard. Its extraordinarily fine grain for ISO 400, natural colour rendition, and incredible latitude (it can be overexposed by 2-3 stops and still scan beautifully) make it the gold standard for portrait, wedding, and fashion photographers. More expensive than consumer stocks, but the results justify the price for serious work.
