Fujifilm Instax Pal

A palm-sized digital camera from the instax range: it doesn't print by itself, but sends its 5MP shots to an instax Link printer or your phone. There is no screen; you frame with the clip-on ring finder or the app, and it stores about 50 shots inside or many more on microSD. It is a toy-like, carry-anywhere camera rather than a serious one, and that is the point.

Fun & simple — what it's for

🎉 8.0/10 for fun — a point-and-shoot for parties, weddings, holidays and nights out. Not a serious camera, and not trying to be.

Great at: parties · weddings & events · holidays · festivals · everyday snapshots. Has its own flash. Camera Match's Fun & simple mode ranks it against the other point-and-shoots.

📝 How suitability scores are calculated GearScore™ genre scores are calculated from this camera's verified specifications — autofocus, sensor, weight, weather sealing and more — weighted by what matters for each type of photography. Where a spec sheet misses something (e.g. a manual-focus rangefinder for street), we apply a documented editorial adjustment. Scores are not based on customer reviews. See our full methodology →
