Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG DN Art

Name: 85mm f/1.4 DG DN Art
Brand: Sigma
Availability: InStock

The Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG DN Art is a mirrorless-native portrait prime that offers optical quality rivalling Sony's FE 85mm f/1.4 GM at a significantly lower price. Redesigned with a shorter register distance in mind, it is sharper wide open than its DSLR predecessor and features faster, quieter AF via Sigma's high-response linear actuator. A compelling choice for Sony portrait and wedding photographers.

GearFrame's Take

Sony GM-class portrait quality at nearly half the price — the smart choice for budget-conscious Sony portrait photographers.

📝 How suitability scores are calculated GearScore™ genre scores are calculated from this camera's verified specifications — autofocus, sensor, weight, weather sealing and more — weighted by what matters for each type of photography. Where a spec sheet misses something (e.g. a manual-focus rangefinder for street), we apply a documented editorial adjustment. Scores are not based on customer reviews. See our full methodology →
