✅ Great For

🏛️

Architecture 8.1 Strong on resolution, image quality / low light and lens reach / ecosystem. 61MP captures precise architectural detail and allows heavy cropping without visible quality loss.

🧑

Portrait 8.1 Strong on autofocus, image quality / low light and resolution. 61MP and accurate Eye AF produce portraits with exceptional fine detail — every eyelash is resolved.

🌄

Landscape 7.9 Strong on resolution, image quality / low light and weather sealing. 61MP full-frame resolves extraordinary detail — files that print at billboard scale with room to spare.

⚠️ Not Ideal For

📷

Casual 4.8 Held back by ease of use and generation.

📝 How suitability scores are calculated GearScore™ genre scores are calculated from this camera's verified specifications — autofocus, sensor, weight, weather sealing and more — weighted by what matters for each type of photography. Where a spec sheet misses something (e.g. a manual-focus rangefinder for street), we apply a documented editorial adjustment. Scores are not based on customer reviews. See our full methodology →
